Tehran, Summer 2025 – In line with its mission to foster international knowledge exchange and technical development, the IEIPE is pleased to announce an upcoming scientific visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Destination: Cutting-Edge Power Generation The focal point of this trip is the "Shimal-2" Combined-Cycle Power Plant, a state-of-the-art facility located near Baku. Participants will gain first-hand insights into modern power generation technologies, control systems, and operational efficiency strategies.
Comprehensive 2-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Technical Deep Dive & Site Tour The program begins with a morning flight from Tehran to Baku. Upon arrival, attendees will transfer to the "Shimal-2" plant for a technical briefing by chief engineers. The day includes a guided tour of critical facilities, such as the Control Room, Gas Turbine Hall, and HRSG Unit, followed by a networking lunch and evening free time in Baku.

Day 2: Advanced Workshops & Cultural Insight The second day features two specialized workshops:
