Powering the Future: IEIPE Successfully Concludes High-Level Workshop on AI-Driven Optimization & Renewable Integration

Tehran, November 2025 – As power grids evolve to accommodate higher levels of green energy, the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and electrical engineering has become a focal point for industry advancement. Addressing this critical trend, the IEIPE organized a specialized two-day scientific workshop titled "AI-Driven Optimization & Renewable Integration in Smart Grids".

Distinguished Instruction The workshop, held on November 18th and 19th, featured Prof. Masoud Aliakbar Golkar, a distinguished professor from K.N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU), as the lead instructor. Prof. Golkar, a renowned expert in Distributed Generation (DG) and Deep Learning applications in power systems, guided participants through complex concepts regarding grid stability and resilience.

Deep Dive into AI & Renewables The curriculum was designed to bridge the gap between theoretical AI models and practical grid application. Key topics covered during the sessions included:

The virtual format allowed for dedicated Q&A sessions with Prof. Golkar, where real-world case studies were analyzed to demonstrate how AI can solve current industry bottlenecks.
